Faith Formation
There are many needs associated with this program that can be fulfilled by parishioner volunteers. While there are specific responsibilities that are needed, we also have many general needs related to this program.
Volunteer roles are between 20 minutes to 1-1/2-hour durations.
Program Needs
-
Drop Off & Pick Up Monitors
-
We need several people to facilitate the parent/student drop-off at the beginning of the Sunday Classes (8:50am to 9:05am)
-
Then at the end of the program we need several people to help in the parent/student pick-up at the end of the Sunday Classes (10:00am to 10:10am)

-
Hall Monitors
-
Volunteers are needed to be positioned in the parish center hallway, the gym, and Atrium to ensure the safety of our young people. This role is very helpful to the Catechist who may need to send a child to the restroom unattended. You will provide a safe passage for these young people. It is also very important to monitor all adults in these areas. We need to keep to the policy of a safe environment for our young people. Adult visitors are very limited and mostly parents or adult family members are allowed.

-
Catechist Aide
-
K-5 grade teachers (Catechists) can always use a hand in the classroom on days when they have hands-on activities, need attendance to be taken, etc. This volunteer position will take approximately 1 (one) hour of time.

Office Help
-
Sunday mornings can be very hectic, some weeks we need all hands-on deck! If you are free to help during class time, we would love to have you on our team. Tasks can be anything from photocopying to running errands and general office type jobs.

-
“Arise” Angels
-
We need lots of prayers for our young people, our Catechists, and our Office Staff. If you can offer a rosary, or your time I know our program will be lifted up in glory and we will feel the grace and blessings that you have gifted us.
-
These are times when we need extra help, preparing crafts and events, somethings can be worked on in the comfort of your home and others would be to help for an hour or two on a Sunday morning.
