Fr Michael Goodreau, Administrator

Fr. Michael Goodreau is a native of Wilbraham, MA. He was ordained August 15, 2020,

and was assigned in September 2020, as Parochial Vicar at Saint Joseph’s Parish in Pittsfield. He grew up in the north part of Wilbraham, with his older brother and sister, Scott and Kimberly. He was baptized at Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard, where he made his first Communion and, along with his family, observed the many Polish traditions of the Catholic Church. He attended Wilbraham public schools and graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School there. Describing those early influences on his faith formation, he said it consisted of “growing and going to church with my family, but especially my grandmother. She watched me and my    siblings while my mother was working.” Fr. Michael attended Holyoke Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts. He then transferred to the University of Massachusetts Amherst and graduated in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He worked for almost 20 years for F.L Roberts, Co., Inc., as a customer service trainer and location manager. He completed his priesthood studies at Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary in

Weston, MA.

Paul Mazzariello, Deacon

Deacon Paul is married to his best friend Carole. They have three children and two grandchildren. Born in Springfield, Paul attended Cathedral High School and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western New England College.  

Deacon Paul has been living in Granby for over twenty years and joined Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in the role of Deacon following his ordination on May 14, 2005. Serves as Chaplain to the inmates at the Hampden County Sherriff's Dept in Ludlow.

Deanna came to our parish in February 2021.  She is a long time resident of Granby, having graduated from Granby Jr Sr High School in 1987.  She has been married to her husband, Tim, since 1997 and they have raised their 2 children in town.

Prior to coming here, she was a full time stay at home mom, while helping to run the family business.  She's here to help out and make the office run as smoothly as possible so that our parish can continue to flourish.
