SYMBOLICALLY – Mary’s Immaculate Heart is first a symbol of her perfect
(immaculate) love for God our Father. She was the only human born able to love God with perfection. Also, her heart is a symbol of her motherly
love for Jesus. Her heart experienced all the emotions a mother has throughout life, including intense pain and sorrow as she watched her Son suffer and be put to death. Finally, her Immaculate Heart is a symbol of her compassionate and devoted love for each one of us, her children here
on earth. So very aware of our struggles, her greatest desire is to bring us to Jesus and help us love Him more deeply.
